How will i describe today?
Scorching hot! Hot until i am sun-burned despite wearing cap. Feeling super shag and drained but good after crazy walking of 4 hours, definitely abt 10km. Hmm.. i enjoy trekking.. DUn even mind going there quite quite soon again.. Okie.. back to today.. is A frightening xperience with monkeys. We took another trail today and this time we were able to visit the jelutong tower. The jelutong tower looks 'ulu' and it isn't obvious until yuting said 'eh is that the tower', then meiling and i were 'oh ya hor, thanks for saying it out, coz ml n i are those blur until ppl that we will walk past it w/o noticing it.' Initially, (just for a few secs) Meiling was like quite reluctant to go up as she was afraid there might be bad guys hiding up there. Eventually we went up.. the stairs was crazy.. those circle stairs... i climbed until a bit gliddy coz the tower is abt 5 to 6 storey high... GUess wad we saw when we were up there. A monkey sitting on the railing, sitting so steady.. Well.. i m the timid one .. i hav to admit i m afraid of wild monyet... ml n yt could still look around at the green scenery while i stared straight at the monyet for the 1st few minutes.. suddenly, the monyet started walkin towards us... we stepped back.. we looked at the monyet and it looked back at us.. quickly, as we didnt wish to disturb the monyet, we walked down to a storey below and we sat on the bench as we were tired and thirsty. Then dUnno when, the monyet started looking at us.. it had actualli climbed down and spied at us.. quicly, we walked and walked down the stairs w/o looking up... and we saw there was another monyet on the tree... when we finally reached the bottom.. there was another monyet sitting there... OKie Alrighty.. we had actualli walked into a monyet territory. THose monkeys had actualli been looking at the 3 idiots all along.. watching us climb the stairs up the tower... well they might feel that we had invaded their space... or they might be seeing if we carry ani food on our hands... k... can never imagine how dangerous wild monkeys can be..
As today was freaking hot.. we saw lots of big komodo dragons or lizards...( komodo dragons are out for sun-tanning)... even thou they are afraid of ppl and they jump out of our sight upon walking near them.. we are also afraid of them as it is quite scary as out of a corner of ur eyes.. as it happen so fast, wad u can see is a big tail flying towards the bushes... That day me n ml went there, it was cloudy, we didn't see ani komodo lizards and butterflies, instead we saw a small snake.
well, i guess it is still better to encounter with komodo lizards instead of small snakes.
