Worked at crescent girls today.. from 8am to 4pm.. it was such a tiring day coz i woke up at 445 and left home at 5.45 to take bus, in order to reach there by 7am ( to prepare stuffs)... it's my 1st time waking up so damn earli for work.. Stood for so mani hours, run here run there, busy preparing so mani experiment stuffs, my legs ached like Siao.. Dunno how am i going to stand for my preceptorship..

Was a little afraid when i knew i was going to crescent.. afraid of wad? of coz afraid of being bombarded by questions from the students.. as well as being questioned by sit-in teachers (which happened at springfiel* and yish*n town).. plus also a little afraid of having on-the-spot answering and explaining theories to the students when the class was split into 2 groups.. Luckily, i was given the course book this time before the programme which i normally recieved it on the day of work.. i spent about half a day google-ing About PCR, primers, DNA extraction, ELISA and trying to answer the questions in the course book.. Although all those i learnt b4 in poly, i couldn't remember much ya.. coz i have got a leaky brain. Is not that i wan to complain, i can't believe the person i helped didn't know much abt dna extraction althou she read the answers from her paper to the students.. i On the other hand do not have the so called perfect answer, found some of the answers for the ridiculous questions from internet and some using my brain... Was so shocked when she asked me abt the steps and i had to explain to her the steps.. '' this is the spin column, ask the students add the treated dna into the column... the flow thru and collection tube throw away.. the column put into the new collection tube coz the dna is trapped there'' if i have a child, i won waste her edusave money to let her attend. coz i questioned some's abilities.

Well, the lazy worm has offically crawled back to my genes.. have been slacking at home while diligently reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Omg Omg >.< .. it's so interesting and sooo well written, i must say.. i can express how much i love reading this book and i shall continue with book 7 after this. Now, i couldn't wait for the movie and i have high expectations for it. Let the time machine take me to Nov/Dec 2008 for me to enjoy the movie first and return back to may 2008 after watching it. ^^

I have also been working some part-time under amdo*.. Have been facilitating 2 days at springfield secondary last week, 2 days at yishun town secondary this week and hillgrove secondary today. While facilitating a class in yishun, it reminded me of wad qingru had said.. how difficult and how energy-consuming to teach and control such a class.. Deep down, i really admire those teachers who are capable of controlling such class and having the ability to make them listen to you. I define it as an art. Not everyone can acquire this skill. Luckily, i am not the one shouting at the class, the educator(which i will not call them as teachers bcoz i have high expectations of what it takes to be teacher) of amdo* takes the role of teaching and shouting..

Secondary school students are more fortunate now, other than going to science centres and doing community services, they are more exposed to science knowledge. Some Secondary schools employ amdo* to teach their students interesting science and life science stuffs..(Scentsation-- making of soap and perfume during practicals; DNA and gene modeling-- construction of DNA double helix structure and extracting DNA from onions; making medicine from the environment-- Cultivation of bacteria, gram staining and measuring zones of inhibitions using different anti-microbial agents; Exploring environmental technology-- where students have to go on a field trip at sungei buloh to observe and learn about the plants and animals of the nature reserve as well as collection of water sample for cultivation of bacteria). Hmmm, i daresay.. no doubt is interesting to know all these kind of stuffs, especially doing the experiments in which the company made it interesting. But what's the motive behind all these programme catered especially for secondary and primary school students? Actualli, it's very clear to me, which i don't think is clear for the students. it's a type brain-washing to me .. i mean why onli this type of sciences? why not more physics-like? and why even concentrate in sciences? To me, it is indirectly filtering and leading the filtered ones to choose Sc as their major. Well, i also dunno whether is this healthy or unhealthy. Mayb i have no rights to even comment on it.

Was looking at jobstreet.com.sg.. was shocked to see this job entitled "12 Ppl Nided to Lose 5-15Kgs NOW" by a wellness center in sg.

Details of job--Ppl nided 2 lose 5-15Kgs by July 2008, company nids documented results of people in Singapore! All natural products.

MY thots:
i dunno if i m thinking too much.. so prdts advertised for slimming are somewad fake? the results aren't accurate at all.. i mean if they employ ppl and give them money to lose weight.. and they make it a must for them to lose weight by all kinds of means.. and later they advertise it as effective slimming prdts, and showing datas of people able of losing weight in such a short term..

Actualli is not surprising at all if all these happens.. i m just shocked they did it so openly by employing people through jobstreet.. it's just like telling the whole world that all the results are made up.

P.S. i think i shld join. But i m scared

Congrats Mr edward N. for being a vice principal of springfield sec. Found this piece of news when i was browsing through the website of springfield. i am happi for him. He used to be my SS/Geo teacher for sec 3 and sec 4. i still remember he loves to drink diet coke and for every lesson, w/o fail, he will have his diet coke on his desk. During his lessons in sec 3, I spent my time staring blankly at him. I was sitting right in front of his desk, so i couldn't sleep or have my head laid down. He is the first teacher i looked soo closely at. It's not bcoz he is ultra charming or wad. Firstly, it's becoz of his surname which is the same as our president. THis led me to think if he is related to our president. Secondly, he dresses the smartest out of the whole mf male teachers. All his shirts and pants fitted nicely. i guessed he had those tailored made. Thirdly, the button that is at his long sleeves had his initials encarved. Okie, sound so bian tai. Is all becoz i sat ultra near to him.

Pada hari kamis, saya met up with qingru and yung yung sebelum yung yung kembali ke sabah. We went east coast to cycle. Sounds pretty insane to get up at 7.30am to travel all the way to east coast to cycle. esp it's onli just a day right after the exams. But i simply loves cycling, don't even mind cycling every weekend =P On friday, i stayed at home to rot. i have to admit it's pretty boring to sit aimlessly at home. Played mystery case file game. Watched 惡作劇2吻.

Luckily, on sat, i didnt have to stay at home all day, went to sch to attend patient counselling event. okie, it wasn't of much help, but it was better than nothing. Great effort for the organizers. Sunday, it was mother's day. My sis gave us a treat at crystal jade and tonkichi. we also shopped around city hall area and i added another pair of shoes and blouse to my preceptorship cupboard. yays! now i have got at least 6 to 7 blouses ready for preceptorship. shoes also settled. left with pants.

Yesterday which is Monday, i watched ironman with yt and ml at vivo. we had our dinner(mushroom crepe) at marche. The food at marche was kind of disappointing as i felt that the mushroom crepe made me bloated. I didn't feel full after eating, instead i felt a little grossed out from the rich creamy taste. haizz.. didn't manage to find ani suitable pants. instead, i used the money to buy toner and lip moisturiser from kiehl's.

I felt dehydrated today, probably becoz i didn't manage to drink much yesterday. As a result, i felt fatigue upon wakening. The fatigue problem was exacerbated by the fact that i slept at 2.30am last nite. Woke up at 10am, ate mc donalds, slept at 12 pm again to 2pm. Went to leonard drake to have my facial.

It has been so long since i updated my blog. Didn't have time to do so since april. Finally, the 'tong ku' days have passed. EXAMs Are over!! but it doesn't end everything.. didn't regain my full freedom. Masih harus belajar banyak untuk preceptorship!
